Id like to see some of his stats around goal involvement recently. Its been incredible anecdotally.

He's played his part in the survival but he is just another one of our defenders who is error prone, Mina can't stay fit so for me we need new CB's I can't stand to watch another season of errors leading to goals, it has been a huge problem these last few years and just very very nearly became very very costly. Has to go for me.

I've always maintained that there is a player in Mason Holgate - it's just that his discipline seems to waver a lot.

Hmm. I'm not sure if this isn't a rose tinted view as we won. In what way did they 'stick at it and keep going' that they didn't do in other games? Would this opiion be the same had we lost? I don't think that a paring of Keane and Holgate is good enough if we want to avoid shipping needless goals.

I’ve been pretty impressed with Holgate lately, it seems to have given him confidence since playing a few games along side Mina. Winning the header for Keanes goal was so important getting us back into the game. Well done Mason.

I don't think i said the pairing of Keane and Holgate is good enough? In fact if you check my posting history on these 2 I've said on a weekly basis they're crap.

But last night their backs were against the wall at 2-0 down and they didn't let their heads drop. I don't think I need rose tinted glasses to confirm that "they stuck at it"

I feel we should stick with him. Get in a leader next to him. Of all the positions we need to sort out. Not sure his place is of a major concern. Can always swap him out with Godfrey. Sell Mina, sell Keane, buy in somebody half decent who can Marshall a defence and let's see if Holgate and Godfrey can cut it.

Was going to say something similar. Not his biggest fan but stepped up the last few games
