He was exceptional under Ancelotti. Could see the confidence seeping out of him.

Still waiting for him to blossom into the holding midfielder that some prophesied. I’m starting to lose hope.

Even Tom actually wanted to play football more often and eventually went looking for game time. Godfrey has got himself a new challenge in both life and football by clearly always giving 100% regardless of ability. Holgate should be busting his gut to get a contract at a promotion hopeful team or the top tier in some duff country and rebuild what’s left of his career. Will he?

Holgate pushed for a loan last year. He even went on a second loan. Clearly he wants to play football.

Michael Keane of course does not seem to want to do anything aside from pickup a big salary.

Holgate needs to go for gametime.

Keane needs to go as he is an oaf.

I too am not surprised that nobody wants a player who was bombed out and sent back early from a Championship team, and then went on to be a key player for arguably the worst ever Premier League team. One of our higher earners too.
He's just one horrible twonk. To think his 'highlight' from a decade at Everton was to needlessly push Firmino over the advertising hoarding because he'd been bummed by him all game.

Hardly a key player, first match he got sent off so had to sit out 3 games then he was on bench for a while until last number of games

As you’ve been told before, Keane was for large parts of last season our third choice cb - that’s why he didn’t go on loan

That seems very likely tbh.

Think he’s been the victim of some terrible management over the years as much as anything else.

Hope he finds a decent club.

His own attitude is the reason his career has imploded. He’s played for a wide variety of managers, including one of the greatest of all time, and plenty of other players have managed to look like footballers under those managers. He got too big for his boots and started thinking he was something he never was, started strolling around thinking he was a silky John Stones type that didn’t need to ever bother making tackles or winning headers.

While playing for Ancelotti he was excellent.
