depends. let him get games under his belt now and while the window is still open.

once the dust has settled then see how we are with injuries etc.

I reckon we should use Holgate primarily as a back up right back for now myself, with the caveat he can play in a 3 or 2 at the back also.
 
I think Stones is god and we should all give him time to mature .Honest ,I think he will be the best ever .Having said that Mason is all but there with him and the big difference for me -and something Stones has to learn-is that Mason will hoof it out no problem .If that is what is needed ,no problem .I also think Stones has been sound this pre-season when you consider what is going on ,yes he made some mistakes yesterday but compared with let's say Gerry who ,everyone thinks the sun shines out his arse ,had a well and truly stinker and should be considered as an option but not someone to build around

Most of that team were in their mid 20s, coming into their prime. Nev, ratcliffe, Stevens, Watson, Steven, bracewell, sharp, sheedy all mid 20s with the experience of Reid, power to supplement it. Still sickens me how quickly that team 'broke up' just like our 1970 championship winning side.

Garbutts gone pal. Baines will be staying but I think providing we strengthen the other areas of the squad he'll be one of the weak spots/areas to improve upon. Hasn't the pace anymore to be an effective Full back/ hasn't got a working relationship with any of our wingers like he once had with pienaar.

Looks so much bigger this pre-season. Already seems to have more presence than Galloway, whom we all loved last season. Could he overtake him?
