Having the nerve to perform somewhere close to where he was over 2 years ago. Where are his darting runs, his fearlessness? Given how successful he was in 2013/14, I find it hard to believe that the manager has told him to stop that immediately. What could he be doing better in your opinion mate, given the current style and tactics?

Yes I get the "more economical" bit, that makes perfect sense and you're obviously right on that, but for Seamus to more or less completely cut it out of his game is very strange. That's what made him special; without that he's a bog standard Premier League right back. Same with Baines, I mean, he's hardly an above-average left back from a defensive aspect, right? Take away his attacking, crosses and penalties and I don't think many teams in the top half would even look twice at him. Coleman needs to get that bit between his teeth back and sort himself out, because Holgate has looked far better on every occasion he has played this season - and that's all he can do, perform when asked.Of course he has, he wants a solid back four, half the problems last year came from Seamus and Baines being so far forward all the time. So yes the manager will have told them to be more economical with the runs.
No would be. Great idea to put. Ole man in front of him though on the flank he has pace and directness to our ineffective midfiled IMOBased on 3 games, no mate.
