Very composed and mature in defence. Growing with every game he plays!

Needs to work on his distribution as he can be a little too sloppy in the pass at times.
But that's nit-picking, plenty of time for him!

Who said you can't play the ball out from the back and actually defend as well? Starting to make Stones look very ordinary. Showing as much promise at an earlier age.

In our current set-up I'd be looking to swap Funes-Mori for a better option at LCB as first choice before changing Mason, you can see the kid knows how to defend but also has enough going forward.

Yeah he's been very impressive, in his own way I think he's done as well as Davies. I'd have no qualms about playing him at centre back in a four. However he looks very good in a three and I'm very impressed with how well he gets forward in that role. He's developing very nicely.
