If it was his job to pick up VVD on set pieces then he failed miserably, even before his winner the amount of times he was free with all the time and space in the world was criminal.
But to actually keep his cool and focus after the Firmino incident is huge credit to him.

If he really did say what Mason alleges then Firmino should be sacked.
If Holgate has made a false accusation he should get a lengthy ban. Not that I suspect he has, but for balance I think it's fair to say that, because it's a serious accusation.

We have some very good young players, him and Kenny are the firm ones at the moment we also have Davies (last season he was great) Lookman (no idea why he doesn't get more game time) DCL (A lot rated him but don't I think he's very good, only time will tell) then add Pickford,Vlasic Baningame to the list the future is bright.
