This has been said by many on this site but why is it? We all know we are crap but the benchmark for progress is how we play against better teams. And they are a far better team, unfortunately. That was also the plan for the Florida cup but didn't happen. Beating the blackburns and wigans in preseason is really just a waste of time.

Yes I agree, the lines blur for me who signed what garbage. Koeman’s signings were awful.

We are going to be bottom 5, this is the worst most disgusting Everton side I've ever seen in my life. Mike Walker, Walter Smith and your 8 central defenders, Kendal mark III eat your heart out.

We're gone, the only hope I have is three worse teams, and that's pushing it as at least most of them have unity, unfortunately the basket case that defines us says we're finished, gone, kaput....

I’m willing to take a gentleman’s bet. We won’t be challenging top 6 but I’m confident we’re not going to be fighting relegation.
