The fact that he's left footed, has been 1 in 3 his whole career as a winger, and has prem experience where he actually scored a decent amount of goals makes it a no brainer for me.

If you applied this logic to every player that has ever signed for a lower ranked club it wouldn't get you far.

Why did Bissouma join Brighton if he was so good? Why was Vardy playing lower league football for so long if he was so good? Why was Ivan Toney in the championship for so long if he was any good?

Footballers' careers are full of peaks and troughs. It proves nothing.
