Bad examples. Lyon are better and bigger than Burnley and cornet was older when he joined Burnley. The examples you gave were younger and came from smaller clubs relatively.

When cornet signed from lyon he had played games in Europe and in a top (ish) league but noone other than Burnley wanted him
 

Furthermore when cornet signed for Burnley he was only 15 million. Now a similar example of a player going from the French league to the English league is Nicolas Pepe. He went for £72 million. The idea that cornet left for Burnley for £15 million suggests he was a fringe player at lyon and was signing for a lesser club.

He then played a season for Burnley. Had some good cameo performances and a lot of mediocre performances towards the end of the season. He's clearly a bit inconsistent and quite frankly I doubt he is the type of player Everton or Frank should be looking to sign.

PL teams are the richest on the continent. He went to a longstanding PL club.

Hes not good enough to play CL football, but has enhanced his reputation in the PL mate. I'm not sure I follow your point at all.

He was a fringe player for Lyon. He then came to England and did well.

Mane was 23. Cost 20 million and played in Europe
Tevez was almost 23 and cost 13 million 15 years ago.
Clubs like Burnley sign good players .

I don't rate Anthony Gordon but I'm happy to say he's a better player than cornet. I'd put cornet in the bracket of someone like ademola look man but with less potential for growth to be better.
