He’d be a decent signing. £17m doesn’t buy much these days and he’s on “low” wages at Burnley. 25 years old, decent goals and assists record over his career. Also offers solid cover at LB.

Not the flashy signing many would want but he’s good value.

Can you imagine the reaction on here if we’d paid 20 mill for Chris Wood and 20 mill for Nathan Collins, plus even more for McNeil. Then someone like Villa or Brighton got Cornet for 17 mill. The collective meltdown on here would be amazing.
