Transfer Rumour Maxwell Cornet

Buying another Burnley player will get u Burnley results, not happy with cornet deal, his miss against Norwich was shocking shows his level. We have maybe 35m to spend in the window so need to spend it wisely not on another Burnley player I think no 1 priority should be no 6 defensive midfielder however not much rumours of that happening.

Like Liverpool got Southampton results when they bought Mane and Van Dijk?

And we sure didn’t turn into Barcelona when we got Digne, Mina and Gomes.

Are you any good at the game Twister mate-Think you would be superb at that lol, as you seem to drive yourself around the bend twisting everything into what you want it to be lol
It isn't twisting anything. Different things have different attributes. I've never used stats for defenders. They don't work.

You sign them and make them that. That's the upside part.
That's the idea, but they won't be the cream of the crop we buy. Sadly the porno bros have more to offer than we have. Young European talent, where would they go,bright lights of London with a chance of a top 6 finish playing in the Olympic stadium ( okay we know it's naff).Or the rainy North West for a possible relegation battle playing in a creaky old stadium where your likely to have the crowd on your back after your second misplaced pass?

Mane had a ton of upside and VVD was pretty much world class at Saints. We've bought a 25 year old whose level will likely not go up and a 29 year old who has never played in the top flight in a non-Dyche team.

I get what you're saying but the deals actually have to make sense.

Not every possible high level player is unattainable. We have to do the work.

Well keep buying Burnley players only going one direction and and is not up signed digne, mina and Gomes weren't getting much games at Barca that's why were sold not like signed Messi, xavi and iniesta then wud start getting Barca results.

This x100.

Absolute mystery why we've failed to achieve Moshiri's aims of top 4 challengers after buying dross for years and years, isn't it. But hey, we're not a top club with big bucks to spend, so I guess we'll just have to be optimistic that there's plenty of time to raid Watford and Norwich for a couple of lads before [yet another] transformative season starts.

There is the small matter that Mane and VVD were being coached by one of the very best managers/coaches in world football; a guy with a proven record of improving players and who had managed to wrestle the title away from Bayern for two years in a one-team league. Whereas our revolving door has gone from hoof ball Sam to Euro king Ancelotti to talks-a-good-game-but-still-a-rookie Lampard.

Bit of a factor, I'd say.

Many here still seem to be living in denial, it seems..

The suggestion from some seems to be that he isn't the level of player that we need to be bringing in....

Ok then - who exactly should we be bringing into the club who's at 'the level we need' whom we wouldn't have to break the bank for?

The floor is yours....
