Bit odd of the Mayor to feel compelled to write this letter, an conclude it in bold claiming there's no compromise here.
I said this morning, before the letter - this would be a compromise.
It absolutely is.

It's whether you trust the guy or not.
I'm choosing to trust him. Others seem to not trust him. Think that's about it.
...I wasn't aware Liverpool had been awarded the games, shows how much I know.
We won by not going to Kirkby
No it really isn't that - the problem is what Meis believes constitutes the 'intimacy' of the ground. His view may be entirely different to ours.
It's not a matter of trust; it's more a matter of logic and math. You couldn't fit a running track inside Goodison, so how do you replicate what Goodison is by including one?
Oh yes.Not allowed to be positive in here mate. Must look at worst case scenario.

No, it's actual maths against his word.
That doesn't add up.
- Goodison Park is 100x68m pitch size.
- 100x68m cannot fit a 400m athletics track.
- Meis has said a track can be installed and not compromise intimacy.
- Anderson says the aim is to 'replicate' what Goodison offers.
I'm not assuming it's going to be crap; I simply want an answer to how they expect the numbers to add up, because what they are saying and, on the surface, what they are doing are two completely different things.
