Though thats whats wrong with boxing, they never give the Fighter a Chance, its always the Boxer FFS!! Frazier, Duran, Predroza never took a step backwards.

Yet were screwed over by judges that never got near a ring in their lives.

I,ve fought amatuer in my youth, on the Irish national squad 78 and we were always trained to press forward relentlessly, and yes i never got the nod from a judge even tough i battered my opponant. Ah well.

No matter what style suited the boxer?

Not even in the top 5 of all time fights, many wanted/predicted it to be before the fight..

This generations super fight but not legendary

Harry, my point is judges usually choose the boxer over the fighter, its when they have to choose between two boxers or two fighters then their job becomes complicated.

Just saying like.

You prefer a fighter and courage to a boxer, and it's a legitimate opinion. Nothing wrong with that, but I think calling what Mayweather does "running away" is incorrect. To be able to spin out of corners, swing a hook on the way out and catch unerringly, while escaping being penned in a corner without taking a single shot - I personally admire that level of skill.

That sounds just like a description of Muhammad Ali in his prime. I don't think FM is quite up at that level. I'm biased but I don't
think I'm wrong.

Mayweather certainly the best of his generation, no1 rule: don't get hit.
However, he's a [Poor language removed] and far too negative for a champion and to anyone who would dare put him in the same league as Robinson, Armstrong, Duran, Leonard, Hagler, Hearns etc., needs a cat scan.
