Just on newsnow and clicked on the Liverpool Echo link which said Blues set to complete Niang deal, only to get on their website and see as the headline'are blues set to complete Niang deal?
It's almost like they've given up caring what people wil think of them

Whilst the lad has (had?) obvious potential, I wouldn't be too bothered if someone else beat us to the punch on this one, provided we have an alternative lined up.

Talksport claiming Arsenal are now in for him. in other news the Sun is hot and Water is wet

I've been thinking about and, honestly, that's probably for the best.

I think this lad has a chip on his shoulder and is one of those who thinks major cities are the be all end all. He turned us down for Milan, and I can see him doing it again for London. He wants the metropolitan lifestyle.

The more I think about it, we should swerve. I can understand Walsh's logic on him, but I can see a greater chance of him being a Balotelli style flop than a success.

From what I've seen

+ talent
+ pace
+ can pick a pass/cross. especially cross
+ only 22

- price
- not very good stats(goals/assists)
- lacks end product
- a bit of a character

I think he can shred teams coming off bench.

An upgrade from Valencia with even more potential.

I'm satisfied.

If he's not bursting with excitement to join us then fk him off.

We need players who WANT to play for us. We should be buying players from the lower leagues, they will be so grateful for the chance. Not these Johnny Foreigners who are ten a penny.
Got to agree with this lad. I want players to "get Everton" and if they don't then they can do one rather than take our money and kiss the badge once in a while to blag the loyal fans. If they're just after a pay day then they can stay in Wango Wango Land or wherever they come from, or choose Anfield lad.

Sounds like a bit of a Ballotelli wannabe, and his haircut is a little too freestyle for my liking.

From Wiki

At the beginning of the 2012–13 season, Niang was stopped by the police in Milan for driving without a driver's license. It was reported that Niang told the Carabinieri police that he was teammate Bakaye Traoré, an act which he subsequently denied.

In February 2014, Niang crashed his Ferrari into a tree and was sentenced to a suspended 18-month jail sentenced for an alleged hit-and-run accident which left 11 others injured. The player was also charged with endangering people's lives and driving without a licence.

In March 2016, Niang had been involved in a car crash over the weekend, though it was made clear he was not under the influence of alcohol. Milan confirmed that Niang has suffered an injury to the capsular ligament in his left ankle, as well as bruising to his left shoulder following a car accident.

In June 2016, Niang who just came back from a 2-month lay off due to a car accident, jumped off the roof of his house into a pool and posted a video on social media. It drew criticism from fans and people alike, who branded him an 'idiot' and a 'clown' for performing this dangerous stunt. There were rumors that the club were furious with this and were prepared to sell him during the summer window, but however he was forgiven.
Tit. Massive swerve please.
