McCarthy to replace Fellaini?

Its no coincidence that we have bid AFTER Newcastle did. This bid (if true) does not mean Felly is off. Kenwright said he would give Martinez funds and I think Martinez wants McCarthy, though he was prepared to wait, though the fact he may have gone to Newcastle means he made the bid.

Apparently Kenwright has got it badly wrong and just paid £15m for McArthur, we've now sold him back to Wigan for £3m and are going back in with a £18m bid for McCarthy. In Bill We Trust.

Hopefully Newcastle have gone in with a stupidly low bid like 5/6 million. If we pay over 8 for this lad, we are paying well over the odds. Especially when United bid 12 million for Baines, and 15/16 for Fellaini. There is no way, that james Mcarthy deserves to be mentioned alongside them two.

Roughly two years - I see a lot of a young Roy Keane in him, and I think he will be just as good. Will compliment Barkley just like Keane did with Scholes.

Surely he won't be as good as Roy Keane. He's been with Wigan's first team for 4+ years. If he was that massive of a talent, he'd of been bought up by a big club 2 years ago.

Save your time speculating- if either or both teams have made bids, Dave Whelan will be in talksport tomorrow about it

You are new to this listening to what Kenwright says lark arent you?

Makes a change from Newcastle putting in a bid after we do!

How often this comes up my feelings about Everton speculation is unreal:

Well for the sake of it,wasn't Keane at forest for three years, only moving cause of a relegation clause in his contract....hang on ,Keane played in a team that was relegated.........the similarity is there,Bill get the cheque book out !.
