Some nice news from my lad and his GF, who some may recall are in NZ on a 2 year work/holiday visa. Plan A was to travel for 6 or 8 weeks, then get jobs in Wellington.
Well, the travel itch has been scratched, and they both landed jobs at KPMG, starting soon. No idea what they will be doing, but I doubt NZ lob visas around for cleaners or tea makers. Nice innit?

Tis. Having the confidence and the intelligence to pop off half way round the world, on a wing a prayer, then land jobs 8 weeks later at a global company is pretty impressive, even if I say it myself. If I can work me new laptop, will try to post a pic or two. (everyone else does ffs).

Good morning all on this very misty day here in Finland ,this is not normal and we even have the [Poor language removed] willow budding ,that along with +5 yesterday when it can normally be -20 or more . Morning all. Bright here ATM but rain threatened later. Should have a couple of hours to do some gardening and then pop to the gym before an afternoon visit from the nephew , his wife and their 3 kids ( because they are both teachers , it's half term and they're bored! )
