Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Morning all. Great to start the day hearing some positive news @Terrarian, hope it continues, keeping everything crossed for you.
This scene from Blackadder seems pertinent at the moment lol. Have a good day, all.šŸ’™

I don't post often in this thread.
I started to write about the strength of my disgust for this woman, but I decided against it as it would be contrary to the ethos of this particular thread . . . and would also quite probably see me permanently banned from the entire site.

That was a fine way of saying what you wanted without a word being spoken.

I started love/hate again after suggesting it to you and got someone else watching it , sheā€™s absolutely loved it .

I havenā€™t seen andor
Just rewatched all five series of Love / Hate.

Itā€™s up there with Top Boy and Gomorrah, as being one of the best drug gang crime dramas of all time.

How it never got air time over here is beyond me.

Just like Top Boy and Gomorra, each series gets better and better, as the plots expand and develop and also theyā€™re able to kill central characters off, without it affecting the quality in anyway.
Hey guys. Just wanted to say that I'm really happy that me having the hots for Charlie Murphy can bring so much pleasure to so many people. ;)

Morning guys. How are we all today?

I'm probably going to tempt fate here but I would like to say, I have had the best run of hardly any headaches in years, hope it continues. I haven't had as knotted shoulder in a while either, which brings the worst headaches. I've still got them but they're very mild currently, it's a relief for a bit.

Weekend is upon us and a game against Villa, I think we're due a win against these. UTFT COYB

Have a good day chaps.
Great to hear T. Long may it continue. You deserve some good luck for a change. ;)

Aha ,I see said the blind man . What a relief as @Barnfred 55 is relentless when he gets his teeth into something .
Really ? Cheese and turnip ,is the turnip cooked ? Where is Fred when you need him? Even Letitia turned her nose up at the thought .
I'd hate you and your good lady to think I'm losing my edge Blue, but I actually think that turnips (or more rather swedes) would make a good bed partner for cheese, in culinary terms of course. Not that I'd have them on toast or anything. But swedes are very sweet when cooked, and I think combined with a nice blue cheese like stilton would make a fantastic soup. ;)

The one at the airport is normally about 25% cheaper Anj. Plus it has a bar and restaurant. It used to be a Holiday Inn.
Thanks. I'll check it out. The Premier Inn at the airport is looking like the best option at the moment. I'll have to wait until I get paid on Tuesday to book. We are temporarily skint due to having sorted our hols out for September. To clarify, skint is not destitute. Food, fuel and night out Saturday are accounted for.

Morning guys. Just been up to the local for my posh sausages and also bought a pasty which I'll be having for today's lunch. Weather's a bit colder down here today but still felt OK in a T shirt and lightweight hoodie.

Not weighed myself for a while (don't want my life to revolve around my weight) but I tried my belt on the tightest notch (notch 6) today and it felt great. When I last tried it a couple of weeks ago it felt very tight and a tad uncomfortable. Doesn't mean I've lost any more weight but it does show my body is a bit more toned. That's probably down to me upping my daily exercises as I get a bit fitter. I really can't wait to get out walking regularly when Spring comes for real.

I've been getting a bit of grief from Blue about not posting my G&T Friday pics, and it's simply because I've ran out of different gins to show you. If yo want me to start posting again I will do. I have a number of miniatures in my gin cabinet I could try and just refill the bottles with water afterwards. I mean, they're just for show anyway so who's going to know. I may even find one I really like. :)
