Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven


Good afternoon all. Been doing overtime this morning and Mr F made me egg mayo butties for lunch. Bless him.
Need to sort the hair out before we ho out. Daughter is on a 14 hour shift today- 'she too is doing overtime. I had a tip for a horse today. 3.07 at Chepstow, called Take Your Time. It's currently 20/1 so I'm not hopeful!!
The sun has just come out and it's turning into a nice day. I would like Everton not to spoil it!
 

Hi everyone. Feel like I forgot to stop in at the messy mascot coffee shop this morning, I need to try to make a habit of it.

@Terrarian - glad to hear you're feeling better. I've been trying to get to grips with depression for a few months now induced by work related stress. Starting to feel an improvement, been off work since start December, looking like I'll be going back in April. I also have a dog, Tilly the black Labrador. I love her like she's my daughter! She once gave me a really nasty friction burn on my leg when on a long lead and saw horses in a field a way ahead. The long lead couldn't unravel fast enough as she ran off and it cut into my leg. It was one of the most painful injuries I've ever done to myself!

Good morning all on this dismal day ,why I get my hopes up when we have no forward worth mentioning I have no idea .McNeal had his best game and Davies was an embarassment .
Years ago we used to say whilst we had Darracot in the team we would win nothing ,the same applies to Davies and Dacoure can he see forwards ? Ah well on to the next game .

Morning. I'm not sure how we lost that game, forward player exception. I thought we were at it, energetic, the crowd was roaring and we pretty much dominated.

So even in defeat, I am encouraged by what I saw. I thought the referee was a disgrace if I'm honest. I turned off after the second so didn't see Davies. Mcniel was very good.

Hope you all enjoy sunday and not too downhearted, I still think we'll stay up, not like we got battered yesterday. We really need Dom though.
 
Good morning all. We had a lovely time at the party. IThere were about 60 people there, family and friends. Nice atmosphere and I caught up with a few people I haven't seen for ages- my friend's Mum and sister to name but two. I ca t remember if I told you but friend's sister is Cookie the hamsters owner. Sadly Cookie has gone to that great hamster wheel in the sky.
We didn't get home until 1 am which is way past my bedtime these days, significant amounts of vodka and coke were consumed and, in the tradition of all good parties the dance floor was rocking to YMCA!šŸ¤£
My friend, originally from Warrington but grew up in Southampton and ended up in Durham after she met someone at a Union eve t. Her sister then decided to move here as well and Mum followed some years later. Both friend and sister are huge Southampton fans so we had a good discussion about future life in the Championship.

Gutted about Cookie. Cookie's exploits are one of GOTs highlights of the year for me. What was it. Too many grapes? lol
