Harry I think you would be the doorman, not letting any riffraff in and throwing folk out after they had had enough to drink, and PeterB would be supplying the beer at no charge of course
That sounds good to me.
Great newsHad a call from Logan air last night. They told me that they have had to change my Sunday flight back from Manchester to a smaller plane and would I be prepared to postpone my flight to the one at 8am the next morning. Absolutely no way on earth I said. I'm travelling from Liverpool and it would be impossible to get to Manchester for a 6.30am check in. We'll put you up in a hotel at Manchester airport she said. We'll also give you 8000 Clan points (their version of air miles) and £210 cash compensation. Where do I sign I said lol
As an indication, a return trip between Newquay and Manchester would normally earn me 1000 Clan points, and the cash back nearly covers the cost of both flights.
Thanks, Anj.Aaw. Hope he has a happy birthday celebrating tomorrow. Love to you all x
Depends how much room there is and your timings. I make my own chips and they take about 15 -20 minutes. Your steak might be cremated by then. If you can fit everything on one layer - nothing on top of each other and organise your timings then go for it.So, a short interruption to "Two go mad in Cornwall".
These Air Fryers. After reading on here about them, and a few seconds of googling, bought one today. A small one, its only me, and I had some some vouchers so got it for £10. So, if I fancied steak and chips, I would normally lob both into a baking tray in the oven. Now, can a steak and oven chips be lobbed into the air fryer together? Or is it chips in AF, and steak being grilled on the range?
Same question re oven ready fish and chips. It feels a bit like when microwaves pitched up, and we were told you cook a roast in them.
Oven ready fish and chips can both be done in the fryer. Does it have one basket or two? If one basket put the fish in first and after about 10 minutes add the chips. Some packaging has instructions for air frying re : temperatures and timings. I’m not a great fan of oven chips when cooked in the oven but they are great when done in airfryer. So, a short interruption to "Two go mad in Cornwall".

I’m up for it.Your going to open the front door one morning, and there will be a lot of us standing outside, what a curry night we could have
And Anj could be in charge of the music,Jaz would be the cocktail maker, and Gladys would be the dance director what a night it would be

Really delighted to read that news. Just wonderful.Went to the pub this afternoon with my wife and our youngest to celebrate his 25th birthday, which means it’s 49 weeks since he was diagnosed with cancer. “Fortunately” it was Hodgkins Lymphoma which has an established treatment plan and thanks to Clatterbridge Hospital Lymphoma team and the Teenage/Young Adult service he’s in complete remission , so in case anyone has forgotten, you’re only here once make the most of it
