Happy to announce a new Blue arrived into the family on Tuesday, another Grandson. Mother and baby are great, mother went from 3cm to birth in 40 minutes so Mrs M and my son were almost having to deliver him by themselves. Mrs M also lost her 58 year old brother only 24 hours earlier, isn't life weird.

Firstly I'm terribly sorry for the loss of your brother in law. 58 , it's no age.
But congratulations on the birth of your grandson.
Mrs M must be in a whirlwind of emotions.

Morning everyone,
Still full of cold but trying to ignore it. Mrs J went to Symi yesterday, for those who haven't been it's a gorgeous little Island although not as gorgeous as Nora. Anyway I digress , it's pissing down in Rhodes today so her and big sis are toddling off to Rhodes town for a nosey.

Sorry @peteblue ( a very good friend is a Tory councillor) but wonderful to wake up and see the Tories getting a bashing. They have been in power too long , are too contemptuous of the public and they will be out of power next year and it won't be a minute too soon.

So, mum's housework first thing then off to the gym and as it's raining here a relax with music and a book this afternoon.

Watched Brighton v Man U last night. Boy are we in for a tough night on Monday , they are a fabulous football team and a fabulously well run club , the polar opposite of us.

Morning all. Trip out to Falmouth today to pick up some supplies to make my coronation chicken tomorrow. Let's hope the trip is not as eventful as last time. Inauspicious start with the bus being diverted due to a broken down delivery van. Passed a recovery truck on the way. If its going to the rescue of the broken down van I wish it luck.

Good afternoon all. Rainy day here. I'm just sorting out what I need to take to Liverpool tomorrow. It's more than I thought. Son has requested a few things that he hasn't yet moved to Nottingham, I'm going to take Mr F's suit with me and of course all my things.
It's very strange at the moment. We seem to be in an in-between period of not really being able to do anything. I must admit, I've thought a few times, oh I must ring Dad.
@jazzy I watched Brighton last night. They are a very good team. We need an exceptional performance if we are to beat them. But here's hoping! I'm.also with you on the local elections.
I saw Sam Allardyce's interview last week. I find him unbearable and that interview summed everything up about him, sour-faced, grumpy, unbelievably arrogant. I hated it when he was our manager and he's done nothing but slag us off ever since.

You wouldn't think he was the highest paid manager in world football when he was here. £9m for less than 6 months work.

Whatever happens to us I so want Leeds to go down now.

Had a phone call from the other cars insurance company accepting full responsibility for the recent accident, so that’s one issue out of the way. Hire car picked up and still waiting to hear if our car will be repaired or written off. I’m hoping that the other party’s acceptance of responsibility means it may get repaired…fingers crossed anyway…..

And as night follows day, now that our insurers are off the hook for the costs, the car will be going to the specialist repairers…I’m having a good day………
