Had a really nice lunch. Went for a lovely drive down to the Lizard peninsular. Stopped off at Gere Farm to get a couple of pasties (Blue knows it well) then went to Coverack to eat them (also the same place as I took Blue) Then had a pint in the Coverack pub, stopped off at Roskilly farm n the way back for an ice cream, and got home just in time for Ascot. Weather has been lovely which is great as I think it had been cloudy here. There were plenty of admirers of my neighbour's E-Type convertible too H ;)

It was the equinox yesterday, approx a 2 minute earlier sunsetish (I think) so if you've noticed it youre either incredibly sensitive to sunlight or its just got a bit overcast and its put a dull spin on a very sunny day. Might make the night a bit cooler and easier. You've had a busy day.

Shoulders fine , the elbows the problem.
Interestingly I could lift and carry with no problem and ditto lifting weights in the gym. However when I do something out of the ordinary ( like practice a forehand topspin) there is a slight twinge of pain.
So, for next season I either completely alter the way I play or give up the game.
Will make a decision in a couple of months.

Don't you ever just play for fun. Like non-match play? You can still do that.
 
See Tom has turned down the new contract. That should keep the regulars in the Everton thread happy for a day or 2. :) At least it will shut up all the ones accusing him of stealing a living and having no ambition to play. I always thought there was a good chance he wouldn't sign. Seems a good sort. tbf and this outcome is probably best for all parties and leaves the door open for one of the youth players to take his place in the squad.

However, our midfield line up could get interesting in January when the AFCON is on.

A shame really, when he first came through I thought he would be excellent, but somehow it wasn’t to be. No idea if it was the weekly change of managers or he just wasn’t good enough, but a shame nonetheless……
