Night night Messy, Fred and all. Hope you are resting and comfortable Messy. I have had a good day today as my daughter and her two girls visited this afternoon. Haven’t seen them for weeks as one or the other was suffering from coughs, colds etc. The youngest, 5, informed me that she wants to be a tooth fairy when she grows up.?. I actually live in Mawnan Smith Jazzy, not too far from the Red Lion pub.

Yeah Trebah Gardens are spectacular, especially the palms, gunneras and tree ferns. It's like something out of Jurrasic Park. If anybody hasn't been there and like gardens, I'd recommend you google it. But we also have Glendurgan. Carwinion House and Bosloe House gardens and also have amazing gardens at the Meuden hotel that you are free to roam even if you just go there for an afternoon cream tea, which are delicious by the way. All of them are also spectacular in the spring with all the rhododendrons and azaleas in full bloom. It's such a mild climate down here it's a gardeners paradise.

It certainly is a gardeners paradise.
Been to Trebah countless times and Glendurgan a couple of times.
Sassy you must look this up on the Internet, where Fred lives is truly fantastic. It has the most temperate climate in the UK.
I love the story about Trebah Gardens being wrecked to use their private beach as the embarkation point for the invasion of Europe in the 2nd World War.
Lucky guy to live there Fred.
I'm not sure but think I went to the pub in Mawnan in my youth.

Good morning @messymascot ,I hope you manage a visit today and have a read .Good morning to all others on this wonderful morning -17° outside and that is where it will be staying ,no walk for us as the wind chill will make it feel like -24° and that is too cold to be fun.For those interested it is about 5 ° colder than the freezer box with your fridge . So nice posts again despite what our club is going through . Stay safe and strong folks .
