Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I remember
Morning all, cloudy and a bit breezy here. Sweet at the school disco!!! - you lot are mere babies, I was at work when that was in the charts. Mention of it brought back memories of my Dad though. Whenever Sweet came on TOTP and the camera focussed on Steve Priest,( I think he was the one with the makeup) he would declare “If that’s right, I don’t want to be”, lol
Have a good day, all.💙
P.S Enjoy your bonus day, @anjelikaferrett
I remember them all having hair women would kill for

3 great songs.
Ballroom blitz for me though .
Funnily enough I always preferred Slade
I loved what we called glam rock and liked both groups. But Roxy Music and Bowie were my faves, probably followed by T Rex. Also liked Mott the Hoople, Wizard and Cockney Rebel.

They were dismissed by most heavy/prog rockers but not me. Always had a very eclectic taste.

Morning everyone,

No idea what the weather is going to do today. Rained overnight, sunny now but possibility of more rain. So, on the one hand I don't need to water the new tropical garden ( thanks to Fred for helping me finish it ) but on the other hand the grass needs a cut.

Looks like some transfer news from Goodison!
Willy Gnonto from Leeds. Yeah we already have a song for him when he doesn't sign. One for the older readers ( not you obviously @Val P ) but those of my vintage will surely remember Sweet in the early 70s "little Willy, Willy won't come home and you can't push Willy round , Willy won't come".
I do hope my memory isn't playing tricks otherwise I will look even more stupid than usual!

Have a lovely day everyone.
Don't mention it mate. It was nothing.

I was a big fan of sailor …. Keep your lewd comments to yourselves … but those of a certain age will remember the unique back to back piano style
Or am I hallucinating in the Spain heat

Never liked Roxy Music, can’t stand Bryan Ferry don’t know why but then he’s probably not that fond of me either. Loved Laughing Gnome by Bowie though. lol
