I love most music; AC/DC are my fave band ever. But Country just talks to you like no other genre does, imo. Like, two of the most celebrated songs ever, Stairway and Bo Rap, no one has a clue what they are on about.

I was thinking about you the other day, I got a birthday card from the best friends of my mum and dad who moved to Clevedon in 1975 . I was thinking “I wonder if Roydo’s ever delivered them a parcel” , things that cross your mind .

I doubt it mate, I was working in Portishead pretty much 90% of the time. Clevedon, well some of it, is terrific; lived there myself many moons ago.

Fun fact. The sea front vista was used in the last Beatles video when they unearthed an old song, and the pier was used by One Direction in one of their videos. Fans of 1D still flock to the pier.

I would have got that ( my old dad was a joiner ) but I thought that the strut between the joints was a nogging ( with a g). lol I feel a bit cheated TBH @blue1948
