Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I'm still not fully myself but I'm getting there! Both my knees are knackered so now I have to do exactly what I'm told. This us an alien concept to me!

Hope you are doing ok @Barnfred 55.
Hey darling. I finally catch up to your post and while you may not be feeling fully yourself, having you post for 3 days on a row feels like a blessing. I’m sure being told exactly what to do is not very pleasant but like some have said, many other married men like Mr. Sassy have been enduring that concept for years, so my best advise is do as you are told ;) We love you mate, keep fighting and we continue sending you strength! Xx

Thanks, Jazzy.

I’m really not good but the brain does amazing things that one at times can’t even imagine.

Both my mom and dad native language is Spanish as it is mine, I became fluent in English once I moved to the US (long time ago) when I was 17. But when I first moved here I thought I was never going to learn. My strength was math no languages but my brain learned it and here I’m lol
Are you actually saying that maths is your strong subject Sassy? Remember this post ? :p
Well I’m Colombian and follow the NT faithfully so I can tell you that he has also missed games for Colombia in the past. And while I understand your frustration, I don’t think your statement that he is unavailable for us for many games to be accurate either. According to the chart above (I’m sorry it posted that way but for some reason my pics are not wanting to post on the right spot) he has missed a total of 45 games from 2018-2021. At the premier league, currently, teams are playing 380 matches per season. So let’s say in the past 3 seasons there has been an average of 1,140 matches played. Thus in reality Mina has only missed about 4% of Everton matches. For me, given the quality he brings to the team, doesn’t seem like far too many games. Would I want him to always be fit, surely. But we must not forget that players are not machines. Playing that many matches per season can be grueling on the body.

Great to hear from you again mate. I hope the new meds are agreeing with you. You're going to have to bite your lip and do what no man likes to do... and do as you're told and get your strength back. Sleep well mate and goodnight and God bless messy and everyone reading. ??

Good night/good morning @messymascot and mascoteers. As I mentioned it earlier, it is always very comforting when we hear from you!

I hope tomorrow you are able to keep up with the game and that Everton shows the same feistiness they showed during the second half against Arsenal. We need them to continue playing with such hunger.

We made it to Costa Rica but I’m seriously exhausted, all the hard work the past few days has finally caught with me. Thanks for all the good wishes you all sent. I will try to post whenever I’m near a WiFi. Cheers. Xx

Have a wonderful day blue.

Some questions.....

1. How do you cope with the cold. I mean you can make the house toasty but it must cost a fortune but surely you freeze to death whe you go out.

2. Are you a judge on the Finnish equivalent of Masterchief?

3. If your wife is cooking , why doesn't she practice what she preaches , that menu sounds anything but simple.

4. What's Santa going to do if all you Finns eat his flipping Rheindeers?
Well
1.We have much more insulation in the roof 40cm is the minimum and most importantly there are no gaps and no squashing the insulation as it defeats the purpose ,all the houses are let breathe ,we dont use mastic except with tiling all windows and doors outside are allowed to let in water but there is always a way out at the bottom and behind that there is an impermeable layer to keep the water out .Two other big differences are that we don't use plaster ,wet that is as we have plasterboard and we build brickwork down to -12°c somehow it doesn't freeze and that is as cold as they will allow the brickies to work.
2.If only but I must say that the truffle was a real let down ,yes it was from lidl -I expected it to be just better .We have a mushroom here we pick -not exclusive to here though - it is known as Trumpet of death and it is called the poor man's mushroom and I much prefer that taste .I must add that I also don't get the hype about scallops ,shushi and now truffel and I have been called an inverted snob .
3. Yes but it is always the way if you can do it it is easy espeially if it is your hobby.
4. They like lots of other food are sadly farmed for food now not in an enclosed space but bred just for food ,saying that they use all of the animal .Down south here there are too many of other types of dear and they have to be culled so although it is not cheap it is plentiful during the season. If you look at santa I don't think you need to worry about him getting enough !

Good morning Messy and the mascoteers once again I’ve been missing on parade … And I see the the wonderful news of you appearing for several days in a row … epic !
I had to head back to the Uk early for Christmas. My consultant at the hospital sent for me … I suggested I leave it till after Christmas but when I mentioned it to my daughter who appears to be my boss !! the air turned blue … and while she is an ardent Everton fan … the blue was language an educated young lady is rarely expected to use .so I’m here staying with daughter for a few weeks.
Big bonus I get to chill with my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter aka “Ash the Bash” who makes me so happy
Keep on visiting us messy to me you’re an amazing inspiration

Hope your visit to the consultant goes well. Enjoy your stay with your family and “Ash the Bash” although in my experience 2 1/2 year olds are anything but “chill”?

Now that's what you call a real air guitar.
Enjoy Christmas back in the UK and hope all goes well with the consultant.
