Do they sell uncle Joe's Mint Balls?Have you been to the oldest sweet shop in Pately Bridge? They do all sorts of sweets from years ago. We used to refer to sweets as “toffee” whatever type they were. Must have been a sign.

A staple Wigan diet if I remember my days of visiting Wigan County Court correctly.
Even the usher would offer you one as you go into the judge's chamber.
Of course the worst thing you could do was accept and stuff it in your mouth just before addressing the judge......I've seen that once!

I lost Sue 3 years ago to cancer and there isnt a day that goes by that I dont think of her I miss her terribly.
