Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Torrential rain last night has led to very heavy flooding in Armagh. I saw cars almost submerged earlier on the news but thankfully not as bad where I am. Even the train line to Dublin is closed as part of it is under water šŸ˜Ÿ

With more heavy rain coming I am not looking forward to an early morning drive to the airport tomorrow nevermind being up in the air!!
Be safe!!!

She is adorable!
Thank you, I loved her. We used to show her and almost got to crufts (missed out by getting a second place instead of a first in a show in Birmingham). Then we adopted a rescue Staffie and for the sake of harmony in the house we had them both spayed and could no longer show her. She was incredibly stupid but very loveable

Thank you that would be lovely to see in spring but Iā€™m scared of coming away with Wilson (your rescue dog) at the moment šŸ˜‚. I had a beautiful English Bull Terrier called Rosie and have always loved the breed. I follow your rescue on Facebook and am constantly ooohing and aaahing at the dogs you rescue.
Well , we do a lot for the rescue , that's true but it's located in Melling, not in our garden!

I purposely don't go down the rescue that much for exactly the same reason.

I limit my efforts such as they are to helping fundraising whereas Mrs J is a one woman army when it comes to fundraising and finding homes for the dogs

Watching the COVID enquiry evidence.

The levels of incompetence/ negligence is off the scale.

Thankfully I didn't lose a relative or close friend in the pandemic but if I had I would be absolutely fuming
Iā€™ve dipped in and out of Cummingsā€˜ testimony , mind boggling at times, Hugo Keith KC is very impressive , Moshiri should put him on a retainer just in case we need to appeal something ā€¦..

Hello everybody. I hope you are all having a decent day. I had one of those days when I was desperately trying to clear everything ready for my move on Monday and more and more things that l needed to do kept landing in my inbox. I've only just logged off. Good for the flexi I suppose and I'm off for the rest of the week.
We' ve had some interest in my Dad's house. One couple who are downsizing really like it but haven't committed yet. They live really close by and don't want to leave the area. For those who are familiar with that part of Liverpool they live in one of the houses in Western Drive - absolutely massive 6 bedroom houses with a cellar. They agreed Dad's house (4 bedroom) would be perfect but I think the lady is reluctant to leave her home of 30 years even though she said it is miles too big now. We'll just have to wait and see.
I'm cautiously optimistic about our chances tomorrow. Fingers crossed. I thought DCL's comments about how Dyche had handled his injury were interesting - not rushing him back, making sure they got to the cause of it.
Have a good evening all.

Evening all. My Spanish chicken with chorizo is in the oven and I'm just having a relaxing proper job waiting for it to cook. See you've been busy in here.the last few days, mostly with issues I'm trying desperately hard not to think about, so forgive me if I don't join in. I'm not ignoring you. Completely avoiding the news at yhe moment.

Hope you all have an enjoyable evening. Kate Bush has just come on my playlist so I'm nice and chilled.
