I have some GREAT NEWS!!! I finally got my tentative job offer yesterday!! Yay!!! :dance:

Wow, it was long haul to get to this point! I had to do all of these online questionnaires yesterday and of course, I had internet problems. lol I was able to get everything I need done for the moment.

It's ok! I will try to get a pic of Roscoe and Joey. They are both green and yellow, but they do sell the blue ones here. I had a couple of the blue ones when I was little.

Little Roscoe and Joey were helping me while I was in the office getting my new job stuff done. lol

Well I have made it home safely and navigated the floods thank God. I have never seen anything like that before here. I have friends whose houses were breached by the water and I don’t know what to say to them. Where do you even start reclaiming your house from that horror??

My house escaped it completely and actually was never in danger. Just mere minutes from me, people were navigating roads by boat. Incredible.

Going out with Rob tonight to a golf club near Camborne, about 15/20 miles away. We'd been without power for about for about 10 hours so I asked him if it was still on tonight. Apparently they'd had no issues and there's no traffic warnings for the roads.
 
Didn’t go to the game last night as I have a nasty cold/virus thing which set in yesterday. Was feeling properly sorry for myself until I read todays posts and all the stuff that’s going on with you and the weather etc. I hope everyone is safe and warm. I also read a quote on Facebook which pricked my conscience and made me feel bad about feeling sorry for myself and it was “If everyone in the world put their problems in a hat and you pulled out your own you’d be grateful”. Well done on the job offer @Vegas Toffee Girl - very exciting!
