Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Nice set up there, giving Fred an open goal to post a video of “ Yes, we have no bananas” 👍🙂

it’s pretty miserable here too, I think that’s the fourth named storm and we haven’t hit winter yet!
Haha. Yes I did spot an opportunity BL, but didn't have sufficient knowledge to carry through with it. I spent my formative teen years listening to Yes, Genesis and Floyd, whilst you obviously spent yours listening to Louis Prima lol . And yes, I have just employed the services of Google.;)

Haha, me too to find out who the singer was I needed Google! My teen years listening was soul/ Stax/ Atlantic/ Tamla before moving onto Genesis and Yes. I have vivid memories of Peter Gabriel and Genesis at the Liverpool Empire about ‘75 ish. Great stuff!

Although I've seen Genesis live twice, I never got to see them with Gabriel fronting. That was definitely my favourite era and Suppers Ready is still probably my favourite side of an album, probably alongside Yes' Gates of Delirium and Kossoff's Tuesday Morning.. I did get to see Peter Gabriel live at The Empire in 1977 though as a solo artist.

You gotta love nature .

Storm Debi has expedited the leaves falling and the wind direction and power has been such that it's blown all the leaves either into the borders or into a pile against the gates.

It's saved me hours of work with the leaf blower
The trees that overhang my garden are usually still dropping their leaves into the first week of December. Completely bare now thanks to Debi. ;)

Thank you, back home after a bit of a scary drive back. I used to be a massively confident driver but now I don’t like driving at night at all. Must be a mixture of eyesight and age 🙁

I used to love driving up and down the motorways day or night. But the standard of driving has fallen tbh and I really don’t like driving at night, none of my friends do either. It’s not eyesight but could be age but probably the idiots who now inhabit the roads……
