Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Grandkids 3&4 invited themselves round this afternoon as parents were off shopping. There was no escape despite saying we were just off out they said they would come along too. They always request their favourite song on getting in the car so we arrived at the garden centre with Comfortably Numb going full pelt and some funny looks. lol

Caught the movie ‘The Day after tomorrow’ on C4. Absolutely brilliant.

Cheeky few stout in front of the fire watching a film is a perfect way to end the week. I’m old and wise enough now to know I’m blessed to be able to do so.
Oh I love that film. Did you cry when Ian Holm and the students drank the whisky in the weather station? gets me every time.

Good morning all on this still black morning .I hope all had a good night andhave a fine day today . Not much happening here having got the Jag as ready as I can I am searching for some "winter wheels " so I can get it to the MOT station . I will make a palette today and then I think I have run out of excuses for not starting painting .I have gessoed two boards ,sorted my paints and have the subject so it is toe into the water time today unless I have to clean the house ,do the dishes or whatever else I can to avoid it .Stay safe all COYB

Sitting here I was thinking is it fair that the ones to suffer are the fans and not the perpetrators in this debacle . The one/s who caused this point deduction can just walk away . I do not think administration will happen as that will mean Moshiri losing the lot .
One other thing the Daily Mail have posted the same stuff every day sometimes more than once per day .What a sad life that of a Mail journo.

Yep reminds me of a line from Carry on Ceaser ...."Infamy, Infamy they've all got it in for me".

Poor old Moshiri , who'd have thought that a world class accountant could .......errr get the books wrong?

As Alanis Morrisette said , "isn't it ironic don't you think ?"

It could only happen to Everton.

But they do care about the fans Blue 🤣🤣. One of the reasons the scab breakaway 6 did not get a points deduction was 'because you can't punish the fans'. Rotten to the core.

Morning everyone,

Over a week now with this bloody virus. I'm getting better , no doubt , but still only about 80% recovered.

Anyway after I've done mum's shop I will go to the gym for the most gentle of sessions , I have to start somewhere and need to test my fitness as I am due to play ping pong tomorrow.

So , I suppose this week will see more 10 points deduction and take over speculation rubbish.

The build up to the United ground will be interesting. I've no doubt that Goodison will be a bear pit but I hope the players don't get caught up and lose their heads. We won't get 3 points without keeping 11 on the pitch

Anyway, have a lovely day everyone.
