…my eldest granddaughter started school in September & came home yesterday to tell Mum and Dad that she’s going to be a ‘star’ in the nativity play. By ’star’, she means literally a star. Could be worst, the boy who sits next to her is going to be a ‘donkey’, or at least I think that’s what she said.

I suppose Jodie Comer had to start somewhere.

Hi folks. Date night tonight. Mr F and I are going out for a meal. We're heading into Durham and the evening has mostly been funded by my employer who very kindly gave me a £50 reward and recognition voucher.
I've just been reading the tragic news about the missing boys in Wales. Utterly heartbreaking.

Each child gets two tickets at our granddaughters school and then there is a ballot for places. I was lucky and got ticket to see our youngest grandchild as Mary last year. Mary covered the journey (two circuits of the school hall) in double quick time and arrived in Bethlehem a lot earlier than Joseph. lol There is something about a school nativity, can’t quite put my finger on it. Hope you are all able to see her “starring” role.

I done drama at school even went to London to for a audition at the youth theatre, Mrs DE still says I’m a drama queen,

Anyhow we done Scrooge one year and I played Bob Cratchet and needed a hat, we had a rabbit called Bobby, he died and without me knowing at the time, my dad made me a nice fur hat, it wasn’t till years later he told me the nice hat he made me for the play was Bobby our pet rabbit

I see we have a new contender for first up @anjelikaferrett !
Hopefully I am out today to fetch a set of winter tyres and wheels and then book an MOT .I didn't realise how single minded you need to be when restoring a car to it's former glory ,it is so time consuming .
