Do you have a B&M garden centre? They have the most bizarre pricing policy. Some really expensive normal plants but some of their exotic palms are ridiculously cheap. I genuinely think they haven't got a clue.....

Which brings me to Everton. The continual problems on and off the field seem to drain you like a permanent constant cold . I get the impression that the fan base are becoming immune to the never ending bad news and apathetic about the lack of light at the end of the tunnel.

So, I try to take refuge in music , books , participating in sport and gardening .

Got a very special guest coming at the weekend but can't say too much at this stage lol .

Gym this morning and if stays dry gardening, if not re cataloging my music collection - what an exciting life I lead.

As far as I’m concerned getting relegated won’t be the end of the world, I’m more concerned about going bust.

Just had a nice surprise.

A mate has just got me a ticket in a box at the Phil for the 50th anniversary Tubular Bells tour.

The reviews are fantastic.

Sacrilege but it might not be my favourite Oldfield album ( Incantations or Ommadawn I think ) but really looking forward to it all the same .

The last time I was in a box was the directors box at Villa when my firm sponsored the game ( senior partner was a Villa fan) . Fortunately Everton won.

Not B&M but have a Home Bargains one, their pricing policy is a bit random too. Last year I bought a 16” preplanted hanging basket, the basket, liner and plants bought separately would have cost twice as much.

What a sh!$y day yesterday (pardon the pun) we had a sewer backup in our basement yesterday, the city come out free to unblock it, unfortunately they had no access to the clean out or stack it’s behind a toilet,

So he plunged it , this morning the stuff has gone but left a bit of a mess, so getting a firm out to put the camera down to see if the blockage has gone, I thought it was only Everton that can pizz you off, ah well not the end of the world, I always know there are people out there a lot worse of than us

Are you telling fibs again Fred? According to the BBC weather app it's only 11° in Falmouth although admittedly it is sunny ( unlike here )
