Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Hello again. I have survived the PT at the gym. We did my least favourite thing today. Not that I have any favourites as such. He calls it a prowler. Its like pushing a sled with weights on it. I hate it because I feel ridiculous, head down, arse up "running" while pushing this thing! It's a far from pretty sight. Overweight female of mature years breathing like a hippo on heat and resisting the urge to stab the PT for making me do it. On the positive side once I've finished the session, I do feel quite proud of myself.
Well Anj when you keep on spreading your legs like you have been you have to expect the odd prowler or two. lol lol

Thanks Gwladys, my eldest daughter isn't too bad but her partner got hot with a blinding headache for a couple okays but he's on the mend now, they have 2 little ones at 2 and 9 who are negative so far.

Lovely story about your neighbour it's nice when your kids grow up with nice people like that in their lives.
I'd forgotten to mention earlier, that is my parents 65th wedding anniversary today, they argue everyday but they'd be totally lost without each othe?
65 years is a lot LT. My parents got to 62 I think. On their diamond (60th), they were to also retake their wedding vows. Unfortunately my dad had a massive stroke a few weeks before their anniversary. But the hospital, (Broadgreen) were absolutely brilliant about it and gave us a room at the hospital to hold the ceremony, and the Vicar of Dibley (actually All Saints in Speke but she was as big as Dawn French) and about 60 family and friends from all over were there to witness it. Wasn't a dry eye in the house.

I’m sorry to hear about your condition, mate. I can’t even phantom the pain that you must endure every day. Like others have already mentioned we are here for you, even if it is to vent for a minute and get some encouragement from us. You may be alone at home but here you are accompanied by us. Xx
Thanks sass, I'd like to say I get used to the pain but I really don't lol, because of what it is and where it is it effects different parts of the body at different times, my spine is crumbling basically, the discs anyway and I'm not even 50, used to be incredibly fit, very sporty and did gym.

I did have a lot of anatomical problems when I was a kid mainly legs though so i guess i shouldn't be surprised at the other end of life I get problems again.

I still think I'm too bloody young for this though it sucks.

Talking about being kind too older folks and such, my neighbour must feel sorry for me, cooks me a roast dinner now and again and she's about 70, there are still some kind people, she was also very supportive of me when I was having anti-social behaviour problems at the start of summer.

I’m sorry man, that sounds like a very uncomfortable position between a particularly rocky rock and a very hard place for you to be in.

I’ve had reasonably short bouts of chronic pain through injuries and stuff enough to have the merest glimmer of an idea of what you must be going through and for you to be able to crack a smile, let alone laugh certainly makes you a far better man than I.

I hope you’re able to find some relief from somewhere. I’m not good for much but if chatting crap on a forum helps your situation in any way, you know where I am; that’s one thing I excel at!
Thanks, I'm glad I came in this thread now, cheered me up a bit.

I'm the yin to @Sassy Colombian 's yang. She does gorgeous bikini shots, I do fat birds go to the gym ? ? ?
That's brilliant Anj. Reminds me of when me and Cal were on a beach on Elba, a little island off the coast of Italy. It was a stony beach and we made the mistake of going for a swim in the sea. The beach shelved extremely sharply, and getting out again was very difficult. Both of us were fairly hefty, so not only were the stones sharp we found our feet were sinking down into them, and we literally had to get down on our hands and knees and crawl out of the sea, but even then the waves were washing over us and making things even more difficult. We just about managed to get back on dry land and turn over to sit on our bums. It must have taken us 2 or 3 minutes and to be honest we were quite shook up by the ordeal. As we were sitting there getting our breath back, this vision of loveliness in a skimpy bikini just calmly and elegantly steps out of the sea at the exact spot that we'd struggled, Well me and Cal just took one look at each other and both of us burst out laughing.

Italians. I hate them. lol

It really isn't but you are very kind. ? ? We've booked to go on a cruise next October with some friends- never been on a cruise so I need to get my act together and lose some weight. 10 months to do it. Hence the gym, and the healthy eating will start after New Year.
I wouldn't bother Anj. You'll only put it all back on again when you're on the cruise lol

Are you going to the Caribbean?
