I’ve been to “An afternoon with Pat Nevin” and very enjoyable it was. I had the opportunity to ask a question and the one recording he would keep under Desert Island disc’s conditions was Decade by Joy Division.

I forgot to tell you all I've booked tickets to see this at Goodison next month. Hopefully Chris will be OK to come with me. It should be fun. Is anybody else going?

Forgot to mention earlier, probably because I'm trying not to think about it. I spoke to my sister this afternoon. The results have come back on my brother in laws biopsy and they think he has non hodgkins lymphoma which is a type of cancer similar to leukaemia. They need further tests to confirm but I doubt they would have mentioned it if they weren't reasonably certain. He's seeing the consultant next week so we'll find out mire then. She put him on tge phone and he seemed in good spirits. Fingers crossed the treatment won't be too invasive fir him.
