Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Morning all, it’s promising to be another nice day here 😃. Off to Preston later and looking forward to hopefully see our new signings - please god they don’t disappoint. Staying in Preston for a bite to eat after the game - not really by choice but we’re getting a lift off one of Josh’s friends and they want to go to this place. It looks all American and burger/wings type of stuff. It will probably be very tasty but deadly for the waistline.
In line with @blue1948, at work it was encouraged for people to state what they wanted to be referred to at the bottom of correspondence- eg his/he, her/she, they/their - which I have no problem with whatsoever - live and let live - but it made me nervous to get it wrong in case I was seen as homo/transphobic.
Anyway have a good day everyone whatever you’re up to and let’s hope the goal fest starts today 💙🙏🏻🤞

Might be a good idea if Mr P took his boots , might get a run out with the amount of injuries that we have.

Morning everyone,

As @Val P says it's a lovely day in the NW today. A bit of overnight rain has freshened the garden but now the sun is out and the temperature is a few degrees cooler than the last couple of days.

So being the super fan that I am do I go 15 miles up the road to Deepdale to see the Everton crocks or watch village cricket? Yes you've guessed it right I'm off to the cricket 🏏 for a watch , natter and a couple of beers.

Whatever you do have a lovely day everyone.

Set myself up with a Twitter/X account about 4 weeks ago purely to follow a few people. Jesus it is a jungle. The amount of bigotry and hate on there is incredible and it seems to be encouraged by Elon Musk. Social media like that is definitely fuelling the hate marches that we are seeing taking place today. Thankfully the right wing were outnumbered in Belfast today but embarrassing that it even happened.

I joined Twitter, as was, for exactly the same reason - mostly to follow Everton stuff. I binned it off mid lockdown. It was horrible. A really toxic environment. I do believe it affected my mental wellbeing. The only account I miss is the Merseyside Police Horses, who are all adorable.
