Good morning all on this sunny day here ,we are having the hottest ever and the longest ever summer here as I suspected .I hope all are well and had a good night ,especially nice for @anjelikaferrett and Mr F ,nothing better than a good holiday when needed . Off to deliver the mortar today although the woman it is for will be at work ,it should be a surprise as it weighs many kilos ,if nothing else she be fit hauling it around ! She usually does her prep work outside I know .She has quite a sideline as she does herbs and flowers for perfume and some concoctions for veggies as well as fruit ,veg and her peppers .
I hope all have a good day and that the sun shines incessantly on Cap Verde .COYB

Yes bizarrely it was on the weather news yesterday that whilst we have had the coolest summer since 2915 Finland gas had the hottest on record.

Something in between would be good .

Was having a lovely kip until Mrs J went to the loo and now I can't get back to sleep.

Pulled the trigger on a new car yesterday blue. Trading the big BMW estate for a little 2 series coupe. We don't need 2 big cars anymore.

Yes bizarrely it was on the weather news yesterday that whilst we have had the coolest summer since 2915 Finland gas had the hottest on record.

Something in between would be good .

Was having a lovely kip until Mrs J went to the loo and now I can't get back to sleep.

Pulled the trigger on a new car yesterday blue. Trading the big BMW estate for a little 2 series coupe. We don't need 2 big cars anymore.

Morning all, dull and cloudy again but forecast is for a sunny day and 26 degrees tomorrow. Summer has been been very hit and miss here, mostly cool and cloudy with the odd hot day. Big day for grandkid no.3 who starts secondary school, I think it’s been playing on her mind a bit, normally she’s the one with plenty to say for herself but she’s gone a bit quiet as the holiday has gone on and the big day approaches.
Safe journey, Have a great holiday @Val P . Any sign of the new arrival? So pleased you and Mr F are having a good time @anjelikaferrett, just what you needed and deserved after all you’ve been through.
I’m off to collect my new glasses later, hope they are better than my current ones, after what they cost they’d better be!

Best weather stat I read today was that Armagh was the driest county in Ulster over the summer with only 81% of the average rainfall. It made me laugh as there surely is now a stat for every eventuality in life

I was looking at a BMW but the servicing here is extortionate .

Negotiated a decent deal of free services during warranty period. Then I will take it to my local independent BMW specialist who charges about half .

….Mrs Eggs and I are out in Cyprus again eating and drinking plenty. You might remember our new granddaughter, Alice, arrived a month or so prem but she’s been weighed this morning and is now 6Ib 3oz. Pleased to say, her Dad has already had her dressed in an Everton kit, poor kid.

Quite daunting for her as her primary school is quite small, only 230 pupils compared with 1100 at the secondary school. She had a good day though.

Morning all, well yesterday was dreadful weather. My car said it was 19C, but the wind made it really cold. Today is supposed to be warmer, unfortunately with wind in the afternoon then it’s all downhill for the next week or so. Our summer is effectively over. Global warming eh...anyway, I hope you all enjoy your day whatever the weather…..
