I have just been catching up on the Friedkin thread and more specifically the collapse of 777. With ACAP now also running into difficulties, it’s frightening how close Everton came to actually disappearing. Moshiri’s legacy will be a strange one at the club, mostly vilified but yet the stadium wouldn’t have happened under Kenwright.

Could be worse blue, you could be in Florida. I have spent the morning watching coverage of the incoming storm and it’s like watching a big budget movie.

Afternoon all. Nothing exciting to report here. Pitying the poor folk in Florida so not complaining about the rain here, even though it’s dismal. With the workmen here I had to leave my car on the road and a neighbour who we’ve never really spoken to much knocked at the door last night and said I could leave it on their drive while we’re having the work done. How very neighbourly. I feel mean now for calling him Pilky as he reminds me of the guy off Idiot Abroad (Carl Pilkington).

Hello all. A very wet drizzly horrible day here. However I went to the gym and also went to Costco where I spent a fortune on the usual 'nice to have' rather than 'need to have' I'm very fortunate to be in a position where I can do that.
I have decided to give Bruce a miss next year - unless we go to Europe. If I went to Anfield and he sang that dirge, it would ruin every good memory I have of him.
I have been fending off whinging Newcastle fans all week. They are almost as deluded as the followers of our loveable neighbours. My stock answers of Newcastle are only a big club in Newcastle and the Newcastle Sunderland game is not a real Derby are like red rags to bulls.My boss, a Middlesbrough fan, has been stoking the fires as well. It's been quite entertaining.

Hello all. A very wet drizzly horrible day here. However I went to the gym and also went to Costco where I spent a fortune on the usual 'nice to have' rather than 'need to have' I'm very fortunate to be in a position where I can do that.

I had a Newcastle fan try to tell me during the week that Gordon missed the penalty because he still wants to do right by his boyhood club and he got annoyed. Utter delusional fan base.

Might do a bit of reading , perhaps listen to some music but essentially a day to relax I think.

Surprised that there's no news on Ten Hags future at United and I read a very worrying article yesterday that Everton's prospective new owners had made inquiries to see if he'd been interested.

Please no......that would be even worse than Southgate!.

Can’t see anything in that myself. Carsley remains my choice but it’s inevitable he will get the England job sadly.

Speaking of books, it’s the time of year when I need to choose my Festive Horror reading. I do love a Christmas ghost story.
