Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Couldn't go out so a Guinness and steak pie was the order of the day :-View attachment 280037
Took the neighbours out for lunch yesterday as a thank you for all the running around they do for me. Went to a pub a couple of villages away that was one of our faves pre covid. Rob and I shared a portion of mussels as a starter then I had the steak and ale pie. Have to say that both were fantastic.

Really!!?? It’s a staple of every Irish Christmas dinner 😀

I didn’t even know the Cure had a new album. I never really got them first time around in all honesty.
In my top 3 acts. It's very dark but beautiful. First track is called "Alone " and hit me like a sledgehammer. I wasn't ready for it. Think I'm ready for that G&T already. 😀

@Val P check out the season ticket link on the Everton forum , hope this helps
Thank you. It looks like we will have to wait til 10th Feb to get our seats together, I just hope if we wait we do get them together- I’m trying to find a question and answer link or similar to answer the questions I have. Thing is when me and husband snuff it I don’t want my son to be on his own, he should be with other younger family members so to do that we have to wait.

Cheers! JD and coke for me tonight - another newly acquired taste. Watching a brilliant music programme we taped off the 70s channel- Pauline Black’s Ska and Reggae Legends - Desmond Dekker, Dandy Livingstone and The Pioneers so far. Brilliant- really takes me back

Continuing my life of leisure (drunk for the week), pub chat earlier was about how Crossmaglen is on Google. If you search Armagh it doesn’t take long to you find us football or otherwise.

But the conversation turned to how do we get Martin Short to come to the square?? Only Murders in the Building is huge.He has promised to bring Steve Martin with him.

Eugene Levy has been here, can’t say I shared a pint though. I missed both him and Timmy Mallett FFS.
