Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all on this snow covered day here . What wonderful news for Chris @anjelikaferrett ,weaning someone from a treatment or drug is always a good thing .Good luck with the scan now and we are all set for a Happy Xmas .
I changed our tyres just yesterday so that was good timing ,it is only just enough to cover and will probably melt during the day ,that won't stop all the kids wanting their sleds and skis out ! It amazes me to see them out at many degrees below bare hands sitting in the snow and building snowmen, well actually you can't at many below as the snow is too dry but you get the gist .
I have just been informed the first lorry has been reported in a ditch on our main road ,they don't have the studs we can have on cars so the first of many this winter .
I am reading in puzzlement at how the seat /season ticket situation is panning out ,as a fan of maths I am struggling to see how a greater capacity is making the situation harder . Is it that in some cases corresponding sides have lower capacity than Goodison ?
Have a great day all COYB

The system is that the longer you’ve had a season ticket the earlier you can choose and buy your seat. Or if you’re a shareholder then you go with first tranche. Fine in principle until you get a group of people with differing lengths of time as a season ticket holder. In that case you have to wait for the person with the shortest tenure and apply together with them. Which may or may not reduce your chances of sitting where you want to which in our case is in a similar position to where we sit now. This is important to us as we have great seats.
I thought it would have been easier to offer all season ticket holders regardless of how long you have been one a seat by superimposing where they sit now (ish) and giving them the option to accept it or change, which in my probably over simplified view would have kept friends and families together (which is what they said they would do).
Hopefully all will work out fine.

Send that to them as it makes perfect sense .

I think that the problem with that idea ( which sounds perfectly reasonable to me) is that the increased number of corporates are located where "current " ST holders sit so a like for like isn't possible.

Yes im sure there’s a perfectly good reason why they’re doing it this way, and I’ve worked in service modernisation enough to know that in massive change you’re never going to keep everyone happy, but that the why as well as the how is useful to keep people as happy and informed as they can be. I’m not stressing over it tbh, it is what it is.

Wonderful news.

Only went to the Baby Elephant a couple of times when we were living in Huyton.

On the subject of wine ( which y'all know is one of my favourite topics) I thought my palate had really matured when I graduated from Blue Nun to Piesporter 😂.
You seem like a man who knew his Blue Nun, from his Piesporter from his Nierstein from his Kabinnet. I nearly also said Liebfraumilch but didn't want to insult you. (Think they're all Rieslings anyway)

I have a feeling all people of our age went through their German wine phase before we discovered proper wine.

You monster! I have childhood memories of that being the posh wine in the house for Christmas Day!
