Tough read as in the themes it explores or tough read as in the way some Booker Prize winning books can be difficult ?
In the themes it portrays. It's so bleak but very realistic. None of the characters are particularly likeable either. However it is very good. I read another one of the author's called Young Mungo, that was just as bleak and just as good.

Evening all, busy day today dog walking up at the kennels then a few errands this afternoon which I wanted to get done before the snow comes. If it does indeed come as we are not known for our heavy snowfalls round here much to my disappointment.
I had a car accident in the snow many years ago on our way back from Goodison, on our wedding anniversary in March, where I lost it on ice that I couldn’t see under the snow and did a full 360 degree spin across the other carriageway ending up with my front grill wrapped round a big metal gate. It kind of put me off driving in snow but I had to get over it pretty quickly as my last few years of working was based in Blackburn which I swear has its own climate.
Anyway we beat Arsenal and Andy Johnson scored so all was not lost.

The ad was on here when I arrived ,it was a fit guy getting his kit off not realising she was there and when he turned around she gave that look .I don’t know I just Googled “image of confused old woman” and that came up.
Good morning all on this crisp morning .I hope all slept well and awake to a manageable amount of snow if that is what you get or if it is rain then I hope it is warm.
I swear the more tech advances the more we all wish for the old days .My TV is paired to a stereo amplifier with speakers to get a better sound than the TV itself can offer .Yesterday for no obvious reason ( My morning project is to find an answer ) they decided to not talk to each other and revert back to the Tv speakers . I have so far tried new HDMI cables and tried to connect the stereo to a monitor ,tried the HDMI in different ports all to no avail. The need for a flow chart is becoming obvious as I will redo things if I don't watch myself .

Reading this made me think of the A Team when they could make a tank out of items commonly found in a garden shed. There is seemingly nothing you cannot do blue. God I wish I was handy.
No snow or ice here but just hovering around 0°. If anything I was too warm while walking as I had overdone the layers.
