There are lots of things but I don't mention them ,well painting for a start not the house type the easel .
20c sounds lovely,, wouldn’t have to get much higher than that before I started complaining it was too hot though. It's 20C here in Phoenix right now...only reason I still live here.
My brothers are both very good artists, one does portrait miniatures professionally and the other is a spare time artist. My Dad loved to sketch on the rare occasions he had any spare time. I’d love to be able to paint but the artistic gene passed me by.There are lots of things but I don't mention them ,well painting for a start not the house type the easel .
As me my eldest son and daughter both draw very well ,they see it differently than us .When I watched my son he started his sketch in the weirdest place but ended up with something I could never do . Who does the miniature painter paint for ? I love the detail they get in such a small painting .My brothers are both very good artists, one does portrait miniatures professionally and the other is a spare time artist. I took photos a few years ago of all the different leaves we had in the garden ,it must have been calm weather as they stayed under their own trees .Morning all,
Very cold but no additional snow today.
Gym , leaf collection and an eye test today and then table tennis match tonight.
Apart from that it's a quiet day .
Have a lovely day everyone.
I detest November because of leaf collection it's the bain of my life .I took photos a few years ago of all the different leaves we had in the garden ,it must have been calm weather as they stayed under their own trees .

On a gardening related note, what’s the best way to remove mushrooms from a lawn? I spotted a little patch of them that seemingly pop up overnight!I detest November because of leaf collection it's the bain of my life .
We used to collect all the leaves and compost them into leaf mould which is wonderful for the garden.
However during lockdown and whilst on a gardening forum I got a tip to simply blow all the leaves into the border and let the worms do the work.
It's worked well in enriching the soil .
I still wonder how it works so well because in one border the leaf pile is about 3ft high like a snowdrift.
When you hear in mind that we have planted over 120 trees and already had about 25 very mature oak , beech and sycamore when we moved in 30 years ago and that we are surrounded by mature trees from our neighbours and you can understand the scale of the problem.
