Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Well it's an improvement on dropping your pie Kev šŸ˜‚
 Yesterday was just as eventful and even more stressfull.
I was resigned to watching the match on TV . . . and then (at 12.45, just 1 hour and 15 minutes before kick off) I got a phone call from my sister who was already at Goodison, to say that her friend couldn't make the match and I could use his two season tickets in the Family enclosure. BUT I would need to pick the cards up from an address in Widnes.
I phoned my son and asked him to drop my grandson off at ours while I went to find the tickets. Having found the address and got the tickets I drove back home only to find that my son's car wouldn't start . . . so I then had to go in the opposite direction to collect my grandson from Newton Le Willows before heading down the East Lancs.
We parked up near Walton Hall Park and dashed through the worst of the days weather to finally reach our seats 15 minutes after Kick Off. Both absolutely saturated but just happy to be there.

This is what the blues do to us all…glad you made it Kev……

Morning chums,

Off to do mum's shopping and pick up a few bits for us - doesn't everyone go mad this time of year.

Very good birthday meal out yesterday - bit of sea bass and prawns in a flambeed butter sauce - and then a few glasses of vino and the Death in Paradise Christmas special ( don't like the new detective, but I say that every time).

Weather looking very mild for Christmas so just might kill 2 birds with one stone but moving some compost on Boxing Day so a bit of gardening but more importantly some much needed exercise to get rid of too much food and drink calories.

Then it will be back in the gym on 28th.

Wonderful to see Kay back home with @peteblue . Bet @Barnfred 55 is up to his eyes with ironing and preparing for his incredible holiday.

Have a lovely day everyone.
Still plucking up the courage mate. Glad you enjoyed your birthday.

Just making my favourite spicy chicken fried rice for tea listening to my Christmas playlist and enjoying a bottle or two of my favourite brew. They're out of the Special in my local so having to slum it with the extra Special. Costs 50p more but you get an extra 0.6% ABV for that. Bargain.šŸ˜€

Cheers everyone and happy Xmas eve to Anj. (See I do pay attention).

7.4% good for you mate, imagine having 3 or 4 of them back in the fox when we lived there

It take you 2 days to get home that’s after you’d have 5 scraps on the way home
