Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Merry Christmas all. It looks like you have all had very nice days. As we are a day ahead of you we have spent today eating leftovers and drinking . However we did ho to Seaton Carew this morning ( beach near Hartlepool) and walked along the seafront. It was so mild, I couldn't believe it. Lots of dogs being walked- most of whom looked they had new Christmas jackets on. Had a chat to Chris who is entertaining his inlaws. It is all going well. Charlotte has just come in from work. She left at 10am this morning. The hotel she works in served 150 guests Christmas dinner. She was second in command of the service. All went well apparently.
Enjoy the rest of the day x

Lovely morning with the kids, little walk to their nan’s for a few drinks and more pressies, then back for dinner.

If I say so myself, scran was awesome, and now I’m struggling to stay awake in front of Home Alone 2, while my youngest is reading his Match annual. If Carlsberg made Chrimbo days, and all that…

Will lose the boys to their electronics for the rest of the night, soon, though, so about if anyone needs a chat. Promise I won’t brag about my sprouts.

It was the mildest Christmas Eve ever in Ireland, almost double the average. Conversation yesterday at the pub was that we are much more likely to now have snow at Easter instead of Christmas the way our climate is going.

Well done Charlotte today, that is serious responsibility to take on for the most special of meals.

I had forgotten Brenda Fricker was in Home Alone 2. I recorded it now watching it.

Purely from recollection, although perhaps jaded by the ale, here it's been late January or in March, in recent years. Although it did snow early December last year.

Same here. My birthday is end of January and I have had a few snowy ones in recent years. March is the main snow month though. Armagh’s league campaign is late January to April and there are nights I honestly think I will never be warm again.

Morning everyone,

Still incredibly mild today.

I feel horribly bloated with too much food and booze so with the gym closed for Boxing Day I going to do a couple of hours digging in the garden which should get a decent sweat on.

Should be the perfect antidote to listening to City having 95% possession against us and clicking back into form.

Have a lovely day everyone.
