Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

My wife and my son (back from uni) have both tested positive today, she’s worked throughout in A&E and he’s been working in a supermarket. They’re both double jabbed and boosted.
Double heroes in my book Big J; those who cared for the sick and those who manned the front line in the supermarkets.

Keep as distant as you can, not easy I know but masks on etc and windows open.

Good morning lads and lasses ,reading the above posts has scared me as I go shopping today .We are living in a bubble here at home but the shops is another thing ,we have both been double jabbed and go on the 10th of next year for the booster .It is rampant here as well so back to gloves as well as masks for us just for the sake of it .I hope all are at their best today and try to stay safe and sound .
The advise for keeping the windows open went over my head as it is still -10 here .We exercise a bit and eat good food so I am hoping we have the fortitude to fight it if we get it .
No match again so let's hope the boys are all fit when we eventually get a game .

I've started getting my shopping delivered from tesco, I still need to go to the shops for essentials but it is limiting the amount of time I'm in there.

It is ridiculously mild out there , perfect for a nice walk if you dodge the showers.
It is, I will be getting ready shortly. We always head out approx 9.15 and try to get at least 45mins preferably an hour, hour and half. I don't need a clock, Daisy knows when it is 9.15 and starts trying to get me to notice her if I'm not on the ball lol

Morning all. The sun came out yesterday afternoon for a brief spell but has retreated behind a layer of thick grey cloud again so it’s another miserable morning. Very mild again though. Not much planned for today except trip to the shop for few bits and pieces. Just a glimpse of my jet-setting lifestyle! Have a good day all.
We are all movers and shakers in here aren't we lol

Found it difficult to get an online delivery slot so completely adjusted the weekly shop regime in the Jazzy household.

Used to do it on a Friday but I now do our weekly shop at 8am on a Monday morning , there is no one else in the shop , be it Tesco or Aldi ( I alternate each week ) .

1 trolley , 2 lists - 1 for us and 1 for my mum - 2 seperate bills ( mum goes mad if she doesn't get her own !) - and a car full of stuff that keeps us all topped up until the next week. Looking for long sell by dates without picking something up is tricky , but you get used to strange looks when squinting at a chicken !

Mums shop is all meat , ours is all veggie stuff. Jobs a good un!

The only problem is when there is a wine offer on in Tesco and I want to squeeze 12 bottles into the already full trolley.

Anyway enough of my shopping habits. Its looking lovely out there but the rain is coming soon so off to walk the dog.

Have a lovely day everyone.
