Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Many thanks to the alchoholic that gave the cointreau and baileys recipe ,me and the wife can't see straight so forgive me not reading back through the post to see who to thank . We have by far the highest infection rate today 9000+ in one day which is 9 times more than our total of deaths .I went out with gloves and mask and ran around the shops .Please all think before you go out and if necessary drink old milk !! We have a milk drink here that used to be available in UK ,is it still ? It is buttermilk .Sorry GTG the wife is pouring the next one -it was half pint glasses wasn't it ?
Nice to know you have discovered orgasms in your 70s. There's life in the old dog yet?

Sassy has promised that she and her hubby will be having multiple orgasms on New Years eve.

Think I'll stick to the Rum.

a Chara hope you'd a good Christmas thats great news about your mum. Where did your Dad drink was it Howes?? Really old traditional irish pub- was always the best pub in Omeath - thats if its even still open now. We had a caravan a couple of miles away in Gyles Quay - spent way, way too many days and nights in Howes. Lol.

It is Howe's mate! Small world and all that.
My uncle used to own an arcade just across from it, many memories in there from my youth and yeah, still going. The little sweet shop afixed to it is no more, it's basically just the entrance for Howe's now with a sign in book due to Covid.
Happy New Year to you and yours mate, here's hoping 2022 has a sunnier disposition.

Brilliant - small world indeed. Happy New year to you and your clan too.

Never needed to rediscover them Fred . May be the wife does ????
How many did you have Blue? Personally I can only just about manage one. I find the Bailey's a bit sickly for my taste but the combination is very smooth and sweet for those that don't like strong spirits.

Just having a beer now. A pint of Doom Bar. My first drink since Christmas day.

Hello everyone. Haven't had much spare time today, but just wanted to pop in and say hello. Hope you're all having a good day.

A little story my daughter reminded me of today when we were out walking. Me, my missus and two kids visited the National Gallery in London's Trafalgar Square about 12 years ago, partly because it was freezing cold and we wanted to get warm.

As we entered the building, which was very busy, the first painting we saw on the left was of a topless woman. My son, who was 7 at the time, noticed this and shouted, "LOOK DAD, BOOBS!" Everyone turned to look. My son, oblivious of all the attention he was receiving because he was entranced by the boobs, then followed this up by leaning towards the painting and cooing, "Boobs. Boobs" in adoration. Yup, that's my boy!

If he was like that at 7, what's he like now he's 19?. Enjoying University no doubt. lol

I have just added my Indian Pilau rice to Sassy's thread for anybody who's interested. I'll do my Ken Hom chicken dish tomorrow.

All that typing about cooking has made me hungry so I'm gonna get off and make myself an omelette for tea. I've prepared everything so just need to do the cooking. ;)

Have a good night all.
I didnt have an Omelette in about 10 years and now having read back on some of this thread, i have had two in three days.............

Morning all. The sun came out yesterday afternoon for a brief spell but has retreated behind a layer of thick grey cloud again so it’s another miserable morning. Very mild again though. Not much planned for today except trip to the shop for few bits and pieces. Just a glimpse of my jet-setting lifestyle! Have a good day all.
What's the sun?

It's been raining here non stop for 8 hours , now where's that Ark......
