There‘s still a curry takeaway and dial a pizza near the ground but the bowling alley and Royal Oak where I whiled away many hours have gone, replaced by apartment blocks.

I'm sorry, Jazzy. You are right, I've been guilty of using multi quotes a lot in recent weeks. But sometimes it is just the most practical thing to do when wanting to answer to several people on the same thread otherwise then I'm writing 20 post. I promise that in the future (no tonight lol) I ill limit my multi quotes thingy.

Sassy , I echo the thoughts of everyone on here that I think you'd be wonderful in the role and as @NathDogg puts it so well they would be mad not to give you the job.

In my experience whenever your line manager or senior advises you to apply your name has already been well considered and thought of very favourably for the position.

Good morning all on this beautiful morning.I hope all are still fighting this bluddy virus .The infections are now ridicuous here three times last weeksalltime high .Me and the better half are doing our very best to stay out of everything but we have to go for the booster on Monday next .
All my projects are on hold as I can't get the bits I need ,so it is telly watching a bit more than normal .I haven't seen @Sassy Colombian in any more films so nothing to report on that front .

I hope you and your wife can manage to stay free from the virus, getting the booster may not help prevent the spread of the infection but it seems still prevents from developing serious symptoms.

I know you were, still is not a favorite to be following one of Zat’s habits but sometimes it is just very practical so I get what he does it.

Good morning all, busy day ahead, two lots of visiting nurses today at unspecified times, shopping to do, pharmacies to visit, must get my mum out today, the lift has been down for the last couple of weeks so she's been somewhat of a prisoner in her own home.
Who said this retirement lark is easy?
My dad is a lot better this week after his fall, he's still badly bruised but pottering about a bit better.
I will try to get them out for a meal tomorrow that will give give them a boost.

Got.my tickets yesterday for the Villa game, there's 5 of us coming down including one of my grandson's, we're going to keep it a big surprise until the last minute, he will be beyond excitement when he realises.

Morning everyone.

Fully back into my fitness and training regime now.

Good hours weight training ( only light weights , being muscle bound is bad for ping pong) and got a great sweat up last night playing for an hour.

OK so big day for doggie today. 2nd x Ray and then we get a far greater insight into his problem.

Mrs J still suffering from her ear infection , it smells terrible , so hopefully a consultation with the GP will help.

Doesn't look like there are going to be any further restrictions so subject to nothing castrophic with the dog the holiday to the Caribbean looks on.

If I'm being honest I'd rather not go as the thought of testing positive over there and not being able to come home fills me with dread but unless P &O cancel we would have to lose a lot of money not to go.

Looks like Benitez gets to sign another full back but interestingly both appears to have been targeted by Brands so really not sure what's going on.

@larbert toffee hope everything is OK with mum and dad , tough time for you mate.

Jazzy, I have also began my fitness routine and dry January. My body still needs to get back to rhythm after being away from so long from the heavy weights. Unlike you I want to be muscle bound, specially around my gluteus lol

Best wishes for Mrs. J, if he ear is starting to smell then she really needs a doctor to figure out what’s happening there. I also hope the X-rays go well with your doggie and there is good outcome with him too.

Now when it comes to your trip to the Caribbean, I can relate to your fear of catching something and having to quarantine there. We were also in the same situation regarding losing our money so that’s why we ended up having to go for it. Hopefully, yours will be like ours and you will have a great time with Mrs. J and are able to return back home without trouble ??

I’m not sure what to think of Benitez/Brands new signings. I’m sure Digne is feeling as annoyed.

You're right Sassy, I'll never forget my first game at Goodison in either 67 or 68 and we lost that 0-1 against Leeds but it didn't dampen my excitement, it's the same excitement I get every time Z cars strikes up, it never goes away.

It was freezing here last night. Thick frost and ice this morning. One of the bonuses of home working is not having to go out, de- ice the car and drive to work. Started my healthy eating plan today. So far so good. I've lasted all of 7 hours without snacking!

Her indoors just got back from her hospital appointment. There is a meeting this afternoon to decide on treatment. Probably a biopsy but also a heart op as they think there may be a connection with a heart problem. They are going to phone when they have made their decision.
