Morning everybody. All this talk of Z Cars made me realise that I had forgotten to tell you that while I was in the chippy on our trip to the seaside the other day, a bloke walked in wearing an Everton face mask. Maybe aged about 30. I had to talk to him. He's as dismayed as everybody by our recent form, Benitez and the general shambles around the club. He was a local - Dad was an Everton fan so he is too.

Gorgeous morning here. Freezing cold but really bright. Husband starts a new job today. He lost his job in June 2020 but has had a couple of temporary ones since then. The latest finished on Friday but he got a call from an agency before Christmas saying that if he needed work after New Year to ring them. He did that yesterday and it was " can you start tomorrow "This one is also temporary but likely to be made permanent after 12 weeks. Fingers crossed it goes well. It's in Sedgefield which is about a 10 minute drive away so good for my taxi duties!

Was watching all the furore about Lukaku last night. Sky were proper milking it. You think he had murdered somebody the way they were carrying on. As someone said in the Fears of a witch hunt against LFC thread ( which is one of my favourite threads - so funny, so much bitterness, conspiracy theories and hatred for our neighbours. Well worth a visit) he gave the interview to Sky Italy in December. They sat on it for three weeks and released it a few days before Chelsea played Liverpool. Obviously no conclusions can be drawn, nothing to see here. Move on.

Hola Mascoteers it’s all pretty good here in Spain now the freezing fog !!! Yes feeezing … has buggered off to Malaga and left j my e back in the sunshine . I’ve been a bit under the weather for a week but the sun seems to have lifted things so I’ve been guitar building today … working in a commission guitar which is exciting … so I’m spending the next couple of days baking little bees for my signature rosette

Oh and I’ve been in the studio at 5 am the last couple of mornings … I gave a sequence of paintings going on but in between them thus traditional view of spring popped out of my head
I’ll put it in the village gallery it may even sell

Simon, this would be the kind of position that I would truly enjoy doing, and I know I can be good at it just because I also love helping people. I'm also very passionate about providing access to higher education to minority communities in the area where I reside. Enrolling in College can be a very daunting process for many students, specially for Latino students who at times have to deal with language barriers and Residency requirement. So recruiting this segment of the population and assisting them through the enrollment process has always been one of my main objectives for working at a public community college. But at times given so much of yourself can be indeed very draining, especially after one does it for so long. Thus I can relate to your feelings too and I understand the desire to do something less stressful. Is the job market in the UK not good for search of new jobs at the moment? In the US there is a lot of job available right now. I was reading a news article that stated that more than 4.5 million Americans has quit their jobs in November so the job market at the moment is looking very favorable for those looking for jobs. I wasn't looking for one but I may be getting one, but if not then it will be Goodison and the z-cars later this year

Well there are plenty of jobs in the UK at the moment, just none that I want Sassy. I quite like the idea of doing some form of nursing but it's tricky as I can only enter straight away as an auxiliary nurse/nursing assistant but in my area there are no jobs in this role going at the moment (even in the middle of a pandemic) or it's go back to Uni and do another degree which ain't happening for lot's of reasons tbh. I mean I work in a Uni now and we don't teach nursing sadly so I would need to move somewhere else, back towards Brighton probably. I'm just looking about at the moment to see whats there, I don't need much as it's just me it's more about being happy in a role, something will come up I will just keep looking.
