Morning all. Cold here as well, faint glow in the sky as the sun comes up. Going to my aunt’s funeral today. Those who have read the depression thread will know why she was so special to me so I won’t repeat it here. Have a good day everyone.

Morning my lovelies. Very cold here. The temperature gauge on my car is broken so it is 12 degrees out. When I took his lordship to work at 6.30 my car said it was -15C. Made me laugh anyway! After a very pleasant day off yesterday which also included a solo trip to the gym to do some cardio, I've come back into work to discover 9 new referrals from my boss and a letter with 32 documents attached. That should keep me quiet for a while!

Big weekend ahead for us. Son is bringing his girlfriend to meet us. He met her parents, from Essex, West Ham fans, between Christmas and New Year. Given that in his whole life he has never even mentioned a woman, this is huge! I'm surprisingly nervous about it. House is sparkling already, we are going for a meal on Friday, they are going out with daughter and her boyfriend on Saturday. I'll probably cook a nice dinner on Sunday before they leave.

Awww , hope you have a wonderful time. I'm sure she will be lovely.

Looking forward to trying them again lol unfortunately my heads been excruciatingly bad, not quite a migraine but not far off, I've got a piercing pain on the right side over my head, terrible night it was. Haven't had a headache like this for a few months, forgot how bad it can get. It is all coming from a trigger point in my shoulder, I feel like my shoulder is in a vulcan death grip lol not that I know Dr Spok of course lol

Really sorry mate. I feel so helpless as there's nothing I can say or do to ease your pain. Sounds like most of your medication is cocaine based too so you need to be careful with the volume you take.

I know it sounds a bit extreme, not to mention a touch illegal, but have you tried the wacky stuff?. No need to answer mate, and by no means is it a recommendation as I'm probably the last person qualified to do so. I'm just putting it out there as I know a person who does use it for pain relief and it works for him. Maybe put it past your doctor off the record and see what he says. You may be able to get something in tablet form, I'm not sure.

Cold doesn’t do it justice! And then the icy rain started. Not the most pleasant of early walks that but it’s done, it’s in the bank now.

A chocolate day does sound rather wonderful right now but first things first- hot coffee.

That's one of the benefits down here. It's very wet and windy but also mild during the winter. It's 10 C now compared to 3 C in Ormskirk where Jazzy is. Even last night with a clear sky it only went down to 5 C.

Good morning all, can't believe it's Thursday already, I'll be travelling back up the road at some point today.
Didn't manage out, my Dad declared he wasn't quite up to it so I went and got some nice fish and chips for us which we all enjoyed.
My eldest daughter will be coming down here for the weekend to stay my parents so that puts my mind at rest until I'm back on Monday.
Dry but cold on the Wirral this morning, hope you all have a great day.

You should be able to get it on prescription for your condition, especially if it's the only thing that works. Heroine addicts get methadone on prescription.

And how are you @Barnfred 55 ? What are you up to today beside boasting about the clement weather ? Do you ever use coconut milk in your curries ?

I can't have a brew until my milk turn up on the shopping, could really do with one as well, should be here by dinner. Quite like having my shopping delivered, it's cheaper than a taxi and from the comfort of my chair lol

As you may know T (hope you don't mind me calling you T, your username is such a mouthful lol ) I don't drive and live out in the sticks where the nearest supermarket is about 4 miles away. Public transport is also virtually non-existent. So I rely on my neighbours to take me to the supermarket. I try not to impose too much and do a main shop every couple of weeks, picking up necessities like milk and bread from the village shop when I run out. But I can't help feeling I am becoming a burden on them, not that they've said anything.

I've always preferred not to use the delivery option. Firstly because I like to pick the items myself so I can judge quality and also use by dates. But also because I'd rather leave the delivery system to those in more need than myself, like the elderly and those with health issues. But practically everybody in our small close has food deliveries, and I think i'm the only one that doesn't drive. So I'm thinking who's the mug here?

Anyway, I have enough provisions to last me up until my trip up to Liverpool at the end of next week, but I may consider signing up for the delivery system when I return and see how it pans out. At the moment though, with the weather being so wet and windy down here, going shopping is pretty much the only time I'm getting out for an couple of hours.
