Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

It is a point of debate but the scab labourers working the docks came from the Wirral, Runcorn as well as surrounding towns.

There is also the other legend about farmers and the ferry but that one is a bit more adventurous!
Yeah suppose I get the history but if you were being insulting or taking the mick you’d call some from a Wirral a plazzy Scouser wouldn’t you , the others are wools. .

Just a little catch up on our conversation the other day re. medical cannabis, me for instance when I have it, my painkiller intake goes down considerably, because it relaxes all my muscles the headaches almost disappear and I can get through days with no painkillers, whereas normally I use my full daily quota.

It's so backward that it's not legal here.
In many cases Cannabis is fantastic for any kind of neurological pain , as you say its mad that they scramble for something to put a dent in it when a solution is readily available.

I know a few fundamentalists who try and portray anyone from outside of Queens drive as a wool. The Wirral lot have tended to get wool in my life, plazzies seems to have been a more modern saying - as is the dark side, post star wars.

Oh yeah Jedi gets thrown about with the dark side and like you say wool can cover loads of people , in reality just about anyone but on the basis of that map it kind of made sense to me .

I listened to a radio program yesterday ,BBC world radio and it had an hour long talk about psychedelic drugs being trialled for mental illness particularly but not solely depression .The main subject was a man who had lost his mother and never managed to grieve and went into depression .I was travelling and could listen to nearly all of it and found it enlightening .
I found this link :-
Not what I listened to but probably better.

I've a mate in Canada has started using psychedelics once a month to cleanse, he has legal weed as well, anyone fancy moving to Canada lol I've thought about it but i have a few issues that I'm concerned could turn into an unpleasant experience so I haven't took the dip.

I have a very busy day lined up as I make preparations for my trip up to Liverpool on Friday. Plus the neighbour is coming around this afternoon to show me how to use my iron and give me a lesson in ironing. If I plan it right she'll end up doing most of it. lol . Yeah I know. But if you recall she also had to come around and show me how to use the washing machine too. . I'm an expert now.

Anyway I'll catch up on this thread later. Have a good day all.

Have a good one Fred.

@jazzy When are you going on your cruise. Two of my mates are heading to the Caribbean next week with P & O Azora. So if that's your ship and you come across a gay couple, one Cockney, one from the north east say hello to them from me! ? ?
I've asked this question before and I'm pretty certain it is the Azura. You do know it takes 3000 passengers don't you Anj. :)

Cruises are very popular with gays and we've found they are always great fun. Forgive me if I've told this story before; it's one of my favourites so I've told it that often you forget who's company you are in. We were on a cruise once and we were going on an organised beach trip. We were waiting for the transfer along with all the other people on the trip when this chap walks past dressed in an all white officers uniform, complete with pressed white shorts and an officers cap. He looked like something off Carry on cruising. Anyway Cal, in all earnestly says, oh look, the Captain is joining us. lol Oh Cal.

Later in the cruise, we bumped into the same couple on Rialto Bridge in Venice, and they were absolutely gushing because they'd just been on a gondola trip. We were quite jealous, but not prepared to wait an hour in the queue to take our own. Not cheap either.

It reminds me that we have a cruise booked and prepaid for June this year for what would have been our 30th anniversary. One of the things on my to do list for next week is to ask my nephew if he fancies coming with me. He's recently split up with his long term girlfriend and I know money's tight so he may just fancy a free holiday. I don't really feel like going on my own. Anyway, I should point out at this stage that my nephew is a 21 years old blonde Adonis, he's like a young pre bald Prince William. I can just imagine going down to dinner on the cruise and introducing him as my nephew to the other guest at the table. Yeah OK. pull the other one lol .

Edit. My nephew is 31 not 21. Don't think I could handle 2 weeks with a 21 year old jive bunny.
