Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

No worries mate. As you know I do always try and be positive and the last thing I want is for people to feel as if they're treading on eggshells around me. So just carry on as normal.

In this particular instance though I just want to see how it goes.

I had a look at your cruise by the way. There's still places left. £1300 for an outside balcony cabin with flights paid for. You can't ask for more than that. I was almost tempted.
Thanks for that Fred. It's a lot less than I paid ages ago!

Cheers. Been very down myself for a few weeks. First Christmas since my Mum died. Dad and my brother both have anniversaries in December. Sometimes life whacks us but Spring is coming. The sun is shining and my dogs want to go for a walk!! Have to smile too! Stay safe mate.
Sorry to hear you've been down, but good to hear you're feeling positive.

I watched the film Jojo Rabbit recently and they had this quote at the end, which I really liked:

Let everything happen to you,

Beauty and terror,

Just keep going,

No feeling is final.

All the best, mate.

I turned 60 last month and now have my 60+ travel card, which gives me free travel on buses and trains.

My first journey on the bus I was grinning like a Cheshire cat, but no one could see because I was wearing a face mask.

I'm in my 60s FFS. Where did all those years go? My brain still thinks I'm a youngster. What's that saying? Women rarely admit their age, men rarely act it.
Just that Lancs and Plymouth don't offer free travel to over 60s.

Come on in RAFUH, it’s your round!

My bartending days are well in the past, but pretty sure I still know how to pour a pint.

Not heard that before bt it's very true.

Anyway, stop crowing about your bus pass. ;)

Love that word " plateaued" don't remember seeing it in print .
How about this then Blue

Everton plateaued from 1985 to 1987 and have been on a steady decline ever since.

Today they sold one of the best left backs in Europe and brought in a player considered surplus to requirements at Aston Villa. and a section of the fan base are hailing our manager as a genius.

This indeed is a new low for the club.

Is that good use of the word "plateaued"? lol
